EX-Rangers star Josh Windass has thanked Celtic for donating a shirt towards tragic footballer Jordan Sinnott’s funeral.
Former Huddersfield midfielder Sinnott passed away after suffering a suspected fractured skull following a large-scale fight.
The Matlock Town ace was then found unconscious after the brawl in a pub car park, and was rushed to hospital in a critical condition.
He sadly passed away on Saturday evening in Sheffield’s Northern General Hospital.
Now, clubs across the UK have been donating jerseys with Sinnott’s name on the back to the Shirts For Jordan campaign.
They will be displayed at the 25-year-old’s funeral before being donated to Sport Relief, with any money raised going to charity.
Rangers boss Steven Gerrard posed with a Light Blues shirt for the campaign yesterday.
And Windass – who was a friend of Sinnott’s – thanked Celtic on Twitter for their own donation today.
James Forrest and Ryan Christie were pictured with the Hoops jersey as the club tweeted: “Celtic stars Ryan Christie and James Forrest are delighted to show support for the ‘Shirts for Jordan’ campaign.”
More Scottish clubs have also made their own contributions, with the likes of Hearts, Livingston, St Mirren, Dundee, Hamilton and Falkirk among others all sending jerseys.

Meanwhile, two men, both aged 21, have since been arrested on suspicion of murdering Sinnott.
A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm shortly after the incident.
Two other men were also injured in the disturbances.
A 44-year-old man was taken to hospital with a broken jaw and a 27-year-old man was treated for a broken nose.
