FORMER Rangers star Josh Windass has revealed his family was sent bullets in the post after his dad relegated Leeds United.
Dean Windass netted a late goal against Cardiff in April 2007 to help keep Hull City in the Championship for another season.
But in doing so, he helped relegated rivals Leeds to League One after they finished bottom of the league.
The Windass family were staying in Leeds at the time and ex-Gers ace Windass has revealed his father was told by police not to go into the city centre.
He told Open Goal: “I think they were playing Cardiff away and he scored last minute and Leeds got relegated.
“We were getting bullets through the door at home, he wasn’t allowed into Leeds city centre for a little bit.
“The police came round and said you’re not allowed to go out in Leeds city centre because he was giving them a bit.
“I think the one time [he was affected by it] was when he had a scrap in a pub and I’ve got up to go to school, I was like 10 or something, and there’s cameras outside my door.
